Since the fall of 1993, Bergamot & Ivy has been showcasing the world’s most beautiful flowers with innovative fresh floral designs for the home as well as special events and weddings. Owner and lead designer, Brian Morley expresses his deep passion for horticulture, gardening and the natural world through his dedication to design.

Throughout our years of service to the Kansas City metropolitan area, we have grown into one of the city’s most influential design establishments offering custom floral service. Our design work has been featured in many local and national publications. We have also become a source for unusual gifts and accessories unique to Kansas City.

Our superior design staff and sales professionals will make any event a highlight of the year. The knowledge we have about horticulture and design enables our staff to cater to each individual customer’s request. There is no question that our customers come first!

The name of our shop comes from a longtime favorite herb of the shop’s owner, Brian. Commonly known as Bergamot or BeeBalm, Monarda Didyma is a member of the mint family and has an invitingly fresh and spicy scent. The bright flowers stand on tall stems and bring both hummingbirds and butterflies into the garden. Bergamot is native to the United States and can easily be grown locally. During the summer months, Brian grows Bergamot at his Kansas farm and you will often see the stems in our brightly colored bouquets!
